Despite minor room inconveniences, the scenic views from the balcony make up for it.We enjoyed the complimentary breakfast, a delightful spread of homemade pastries and regional delights, providing a perfect start to our days of exploring. The friendly staff, despite language barriers, added a personal touch to our experience. The proximity to Tiradentes Square and local attractions made it easy for us to immerse ourselves in the area's natural beauty and history.While some details may not meet European or North American standards, Pousada do Douro is a fantastic choice for those seeking charm and authenticity. The free WiFi and parking, along with the cozy bar/lounge, dry cleaning, and laundry facilities, ensure a comfortable stay. A quaint retreat that captures the essence of Ouro Preto, perfect for a cultural adventure.
